Yes, it is very concerning. Even more concerned than I am with Trump himself, I'm concerned about the skew in the popular vote is increasing and will favor Republicans and disenfranchise Democrats. The more branches of government Republicans can take over, the more they can push the agenda to make it even more skewed.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by a solid margin in 2016. Joe Biden's popular vote margin this year was historic. But Trump won in 2016, the Senate became Republican, and SCOTUS and other courts became packed with partisan, right-wing justices. This does not bode well for the future of our democracy. Democracy is a more fragile thing than we recognize.
