Medium as a whole definitely needs them and still has some very hateful, non-peaceful things.

In my experience, the best way to connect peacebuilders is to vet them for commitment and multilateralism, and then have smaller chat groups where facilitators encourage these people to brainstorm and develop actual joint projects.
