For me, I could do close to 50 pieces if you count short form. Unfortunately, Medium doesn't seem to have given short form pieces a good way to monetize. I also write for a number of other places. Focusing on building a tight-knit interest-based community rather than a massive following the way Sean Kernan, for example, might, I find more fun. You still get a large following, but you also get to really bond with people and have a social life despite the COVID pandemic.
